I work a software technology company that connects manufacturers and suppliers with GCs and sub contractors on jobs that are currently being bid.  Our private network of GCs uploads over 15,000 jobs/month to our site which gives manufacturers and suppliers like yourself a platform to move their product.  I’m not sure if something like this might be a good fit to increase sales of your existing or future product lines but I thought I would introduce the opportunity to you.

Hello Tati,

You really should check with your local state agencies about local legal issues since all states are different.  For the most part, the "Rules & Regulations" you will be following will be spelled out in your rep agreement/contract with the manufacturer you are representing.

Most established manufacturers will have their own standardized rep agreement in place for you to sign before you begin selling their products.  Since every industry is different and every company is unique these may vary somewhat.  However, they will typically include the type of products and/or services you will be selling, your commission rate, expense allowances or reimbursements, etc.
